In this post, I am going to share some of the projects with you that me and my fellows had the experience to make, in our Montessori training. The time to decide ‘what to make’ was kind of hard. We had to choose something different, something that has not been done before, something ‘zara hut ke‘… I don’t think so, we quite reached up to all that, but we tried our hardest and we gave our best. The rest we left to Allah.
With all the tough routine, exams, quizzes, assignments, practicals, 4 art folders (did I miss something…) ah yes, cultural files. :), no doubt, it was tough, but we learned numerous things. We not only learned about how to teach and groom children but also how to groom ourselves. Montessori training is not just for children but for you too. Time consuming plus mind consuming 😉 but worth it.
Back to projects. Submitting these projects was not the end, we were to give presentation (no big deal with that), but we were to give it to an empty class, full of nothing but projects. And we had to pretend that we were giving the presentation to a bunch of children (asking questions, getting answers, all on our own). Of course our teacher was there, marking us, while we were making a fool of ourselves.
You must be waiting for the projects, so here it goes:
Lets start with my project. ‘3 DIMENSIONAL SHAPES’. I enjoyed a lot, working on this project. Making and finding the 3 dimensional shapes, around the house was quite a fun game for me. 😉
Here is a visual view of all the projects, starting with mine:

Media Print vs. Electronic Media
Life Cycle of Butterfly
Life Cycle of a Frog
On the Land
I am going to end this post with my personal favorite project. ‘THE WESTEND BAKERS’. I tried to capture it from all angles. Now this is what you can say a ‘zara hut ke’ kind of project. Look at the detailing, the small cute things, aren’t they adorable?
Have a look from other angles:
Hope you like the post and that it gave you ideas to make some of your own. Just remember to make the presentation interesting and catchy so that the children not only learn things but also enjoy it to the fullest. This way you will have your full satisfaction too.
Wish you the best. Good day.
