How time passes
In a blink of an eye
At one second, you are living the moment
The next it is all gone
Nothing more than a memory
All you can do now, is think about it
Because it ain’t coming back
You wish to live it again
But that time has passed
You think about deleting it out of your life
But it is like engraved in your mind
You try to push it back
Way back in the dark
Where it can never see the light
But if you do that,
What will you have to cherish?
When the times will get hard,
From where you will get your hope?
When you will get down,
How will you get back up?
If you let go of all those unforgettable memories,
all those remarkable moments,
How will you find your way in life???
We all carry with us a ‘bundle of memories‘ that we love and cherish. Sometimes they might seem unbearable as we cannot turn back time and relive them. At some point in life, when we say things like ‘time changes, people change…‘ or when we lose the people we made memories with, we think of getting rid of those memories or wishing that we never had them, just to protect our hurting heart.
Do not let go. Hold on to them. They make you who you are. They are your light, your hope, your strength and definitely NOT your weakness.
